IN SARDINIA.

JANUARY

In Sardinia, the average temperature at this time of year is a cool 10°C, with highs of 14°C in the peak of the day.

At night, temperatures dip to a low of 6°C, so you'll need to pack plenty of layers to stay warm in the evenings.

MARCH

Sardinia is still quite mild in March, with average daytime temperatures of 12°C. With highs of 16°C and lows of 7°C at night, you'll need to pack plenty of layers to stay warm in the colder evenings.

The sea is still a brisk 14°C, so you'll have to be very brave if you want to take a dip.  

MAY

The average high in Sardinia is 22ºC in May, which drops to quite a cool 12ºC at night. The sea temperature is 17ºC, while humidity's low.

There's 19mm of rain over nine days, and you can expect 14 hours of daylight with nine hours of sunshine each day.

JULY

In July the average temperature is around 24°C. It's the sunniest month of the year in Sardinia, and you can look forward to around 12 hours of sunshine a day. 

To protect yourself from the UV rays make sure you pack plenty of sun cream, especially as the afternoons can reach highs of 29°C.

SEPTEMBER

The average high reaches 26ºC in September, which has pleasant evenings that cool to 17ºC. The sea temperature's 23ºC, while humidity's low.

Average rainfall's 24mm over eight rainy days, and you can expect there to be eight hours of sunshine from the 12 hours of daylight each day.  

NOVEMBER

In Sardinia in November, the average air temperature ranges from 18 °C (64 °F) during the day to 11 °C (52 °F) at night.

FEBRUARY

On average, temperatures in Sardinia at this time of year are a cool 11°C, with highs of 15°C. Just 15mm of rain is expected during the month of February, so showers are short and light.

Around five hours of sunshine are forecast each day, but it's not beach weather yet as the Mediterranean waters are a brisk 14°C.  

APRIL

A pleasant average monthly high of 20°C ensures that villa pools and beautiful beaches are common themes of all Sardinia holidays, while hikers and cyclists will find the conditions ideal for some outdoor adventure in the sunshine.

JUNE

The daytime average temperature in June is a warm 21°C. With highs of 26°C you'll need to wear lots of high factor sun cream, while the nights dip to a low of 16°C.

In June Sardinia expects just 9mm of rain, so any showers will be very light and brief.

AUGUST

On average the temperature during the day hovers around 25°C at this time of year, with highs of 30°C bringing intense heat to the afternoons.

At night the temperature dips to 19°C, so you may need a few light layers to wear on evenings out.  

OCTOBER

While October welcomes cooler temperatures and shorter days across much of Europe, Sardinia is still a hub of warmth and sunshine, experiencing average highs well into the low-20s. 

While the temperatures aren't scorching, they are still high enough to warrant a swim in the pool and a sunbathing session on the sand.

DECEMBER

In Sardinia in December, the average air temperature ranges from 15 °C (58 °F) during the day to 9 °C (47 °F) at night.
